Applications now open for our Graduate Trainee Programme in Denmark
We are once again looking for graduate engineers to join our successful trainee programme. AWA is on the track to become Europe’s leading consulting firm within patents and, to achieve this goal, we need you.
Our vision of you
You are an ambitious graduate engineer or have a master’s degree within science. You wish to use your expertise and are not afraid to learn a new discipline. You possess strong academic skills and, possibly, a few years of experience from the patent profession, industry or research, e.g. a PhD. You are energetic, analytical and communicate easily in speech and writing in English. Your commitment, both professionally and socially, is influenced by you sharing our values: courage, openness and passion.
The Graduate Programme
You will become a part of a group of 15-20 newly recruited trainees and will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected experts in the business. You will also have the opportunity to help leading Danish and international companies protect their innovation and development.
In the first seven months of your employment, you will follow our unique graduate programme where you will work from our office centrally located in Copenhagen and spend time at several of our 13 offices in Denmark and Sweden. Through the programme you will be trained in patent law and counselling and have the opportunity to establish an international network. During the remunerated programme you will get a mentor from our office in Copenhagen. The next graduate program launches in September 2021.
What happens after the graduate programme?
After the graduate programme you will work as a patent attorney with increasing independency in counselling of our clients, client contact being an important part of the job. Our clients are some of the most exciting innovation-intensive companies that are technologically at the forefront. We have clients in all industries and technology areas.
Later you will be able to become certified as a European Patent Attorney.
