Extended profile

Daniel gained knowledge in solid-state physics, material science and biology during his studies before deciding to specialise in nanophysics and nanoelectronics, which focuses on applied quantum physics, semiconductor physics and nanomaterials.

His master’s thesis at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) focused on an industrial proof-of-concept sensor that could measure mechanical deformation using fluorescence spectroscopy.

Daniel also studied business administration while pursuing his engineering degrees. He specialised in entrepreneurship and innovation management, with his bachelor’s thesis on the challenging aspects of small and technically radical firms on gaining legitimacy.

During his time as a Laboratory Assistant at Skånemejerier,  Daniel was responsible for different kinds of microbacteriological analysis such as sampling and cultivation. He also provided training and support for new student employees.
