Markus Engstrand
Markus is an Associate – Patent in AWA’s Trainee Program 2021-2022. Since graduation, Markus has been working in various roles for the aerospace- and material handling industry in the field of design, mechanical engineering and project planning.

Markus has a background as a Mechanical Engineer with a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Linköping University. Prior to joining the AWA Trainee Program, he worked for several companies within the aerospace- and material handling industry.
During this time, he has acquired knowledge within the fields of design, product development, aerodynamics, project management and material science. His main assignment has been working with the Boeing-SAAB T-7 jet trainer, where he started as a designer and later worked as a team lead.
