Continued Partnership with Green Tech Challenge
The world is constantly facing new challenges when it comes to the environment. Fortunately, a growing number of entrepreneurs are working on finding new sustainable solutions to these issues. New technologies are being developed to turn the world into a greener and more sustainable place. Green Tech Challenge (GTC) is an organisation which helps many of these entrepreneurs through an intense growth programme with the help from a network of partners who are mentoring and training start-ups.
Green Tech Challenge was founded in Denmark in 2015 with a mission to show that green technology is good business. Since the start, GTC has grown from facilitating one programme in Copenhagen to now running their programme in 12 countries worldwide.
AWA has been a proud partner of GTC since 2016 and we are pleased to announce our continued support in 2019. As Sidsel Hauge, Vice President and CEO AWA Denmark, says: “We see it as an important part of our job to help these start-ups succeed. Protecting their innovations in the best possible way is very often the key to securing the market, building value in the company and obtaining important investments and thus securing the success of the company. We are very happy to partner up with GTC and look forward to helping green businesses with their IP.”
