Hongyue was previously a patent examiner in the Division of Medical Device of the Department of Optics and Electronics in the CNIPA, and has extensive experience of patent examination in various technology areas including bioinstrumentation, medical devices and pharmaceutical inventions. He has examined or prosecuted many patent applications for diagnostic and sequencing technologies, as a patent examiner and a patent attorney in private practice.
Before joining AWA Asia, Hongyue worked at domestic firms handling international clients engaged in the sectors of life sciences and material sciences. He has two degrees in biotechnology from the University of Science and Technology Beijing and the other in physiology and immunology from Nankai University, School of Medicine.
